Patio tables

Patio tables may not be your first furniture purchase, but if you’re ready to invest in one, here are a few factors to consider.  First of all, consider your climate.  If you live in a warm, humid area, your patio table is going to have to be well prepared to withstand the elements.  Certain woods are, like acacia, teak and cedar are resistant to rot, but can still use some extra care in humid climates.  Taking care to move them out of the sun whenever possible and keep them out of the rain or snow will make your wood patio tables last much longer.  Metal patio tables are generally durable but can be susceptible to rust in these climates.  Plastics, however, tend to do very well in all climates.  Another factor to think about how often you will be using your patio table and in what context.  Some patio tables have a very casual look, like many acrylic options, but other can be rather sophisticated-looking.  There are also many vintage and antique-recreations available that provide a great accent to classically designed gardens and homes.  There are so many options in patio tables that are available on the market, you will soon become an expert eliminator after a few days of searching.
