Delight in the beauty and comfort of this chair by purchasing it for your outdoor space. A high-raked back combined with a slightly dipping seat and armrests is why it is such a relaxing choice, ideal for putting in any outdoor area. The Javanese Teak wood it is crafted from ensures that it will last for years even in the harshest of weather conditions, particularly since precise mortise and tenon joinery is used to hold it together. A top quality piece of furniture, this is one selection that is just too good to pass on.

Often seen as the ultimate material for outdoor furniture teak is one of the hardest, strongest and most durable of all woods. Often used for boats and docks it is a close grained hardwood with high natural oil and rubber content it is nearly impervious to the effects of sun, rain, frost or snow and resists rotting too.
our teak comes from indonesia where the government allows only a limited number of trees to be felled each year making your furniture a treasure. Teak naturally has a warm honey/brown color than can appear to be polished due to the oil content of the wood. Left to age naturally outside your furniture's color will eventually fade to a gorgeous silvery-gray. You can prevent this from happening by using a teak protector annually. Or if you want to remove the gray patina you can give your furniture a good scrub with a teak cleaner and then treat it with the protector annually to maintain the natural warm honey color. We don't recommend painting your teak furniture because the high oil content prevents paint from adhering well, but if you decide you want to we suggest contacting a marine or boat store for ideas that will maintain the wood's strength, but supply you with the color you desire.
